The PADI Open Water Dive Course
Learn to Scuba Dive with Octopus World in Dahab, Egypt.
The PADI Open Water Course is the entry level for scuba diving. The course normally takes between 3 to 5 days to complete. Upon completion of the course, you will hold an internationally recognised PADI Open Water licence. This licence will enable you to scuba dive wherever you go in the world.
Virtually anyone who is in good health, reasonably fit and comfortable in the water can earn a PADI Open Water certification.

To have read the PADI Open Water Manual, watched the DVD and completed the Knowledge Reviews
Materials supplied
PADI Open Water Diver Crew Pack together with DVD and Manual
Recreational Dive Planner (enabling you to plan your dives)
A PADI log book including a training record
PADI Certification
Use of all equipment necessary for the dive course i.e. Wetsuit, Weights, Cylinder, BCD, Regulator

Theory Section
5 Video Sessions
5 Knowledge Reviews
4 Quizes
Final Examination
Practical Section
A swimming test 200m or snorkelling 300m
5 Confined Water Dives (max 5m) to learn Diving Skills
4 Open Water Dives :
First 2 Dives to 12m max
2 more dives at 18m max
Every day of the course includes a training session and a fun dive to see the Treasures of the Red Sea.
